Just a quick post as I plan on posting 2nite one more time... just wanted to say that I love how SF handled THE situation, he's a very decent man and I think he understood his awful mistake. Love ppl who can admit when they're wrong and be classy about it. BTW anyone read his The Hippopotamus? I bought it in second-hand shop few days ago and want to start reading it this week, and u know my love for books :P so lemme know if it's worth it lol.

I'm rambling...again :P

I'm so glad that my blog ain't missing flowers anymore... cuz I wondered if it was a cue to finally change the background, I like it though, so it stays...for now. Anyway I decided to stick with this blog as long as I can... too many good memories to just delete it :P Although I'm aware of the fact that I'm a horrible blogger lol. I can tell you right now that updates won't be regular (those of you who know me won't be surprised :P - I have a huge problem with orderliness)and I don't even have a vision or any theme for this blog ...so I guess you'll just have to wait and see. Most probably I'm gonna write about stuff that got my attention, not really about me cuz I'm not a sharing-personal-stuff kind of person... but still have the unexplainable (is that even a word? :P) urge to write here. But hey since I wrote some things bout myself... cuz of IT course thx to which this blog came into existing (did u guys notice the expressions I use here...I dunno where they come from :P - I think Fela was right saying that i have much wider range of vocab when I'm able to 'write' my mind lol - not saying they're always correct though), I decided to share sth which turned my life for a couple of months upside down.

Well as some of you know I had some issues at my Uni concerning International Public Law, for the past one and a half months I lived in uncertainty of whether or not I'll be a student there...and this past Tuesday I finally found out that I'm staying, and I'm tellin' you I'm not wishing my worst enemy the things that my fellow-menaced students and myself went through. I'm so glad that it's over that I can't even find the words to express it. I still have trouble believing that it actually happened... :)

and on the lighter note...has any of you seen 6x06 of House...I mean...how awesome was that?!...I was so hyper that even though it was past 4 am when it ended I couldn't sleep haha x] oh and 3-week-long hiatus...not cool... made me hate baseball, even though I truly enjoyed it at TTC with John lol.

And the Nobel Peace Prize goes to... Barack Obama

I've just found out about President Obama's win...and have to say that I'm totally shocked...and frankly find it a little disturbing...the Committee said that it's “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.” I mean seriously aren't there more deserving ppl? Sure Obama tries to be good friends with everybody (which some ppl, mainly red ones, perceive as being a coward), but it's still a long process...and the fact that as the Committee said "many other people and leaders and nations have to respond in a positive way" to his diplomacy, doesn't mean that all of sudden we'll be a huge happy family. Sure, Obama is seeking to do many things aimed at smoothen the international relationships, but the Committee gives prizes for what ppl did so far, not for what may happen... and apparently they thought that he's already contributed hugely to the world. I beg to disagree...and I think that they've only given him this award to strengthen his position in the world and to show their support to his visions.
Below is a link to the NY Times article on that matter:

HI,
Just wanted to say that... I love October...not only because it means that my b-day is soon, or that it's always October/October (;P), and all the good shows are back (tune in on Fox, Mon 8/7c LOL), but also because it's very busy and for every student this month means a fresh start, a new beginning which is scary, but fun :) But that's not all.

October is a breast cancer awareness month, being a woman myself and having a pleasure to know women who had breast cancer and their relatives, I think that this is very important to raise awareness even in High Schools so they'll know that a simple check up can save their lives. I know that I'm not in the group of risk yet but I felt like writing sth about it cuz I find it really important and I'm glad that more and more women are examining themselves and go to the doctors and that every year the number of breast cancer caught really early is increasing. And I wish all the survivors and families of those who didn't survive all the best. And thanks to all the celebs who give a great example for women by promoting October as a breast cancer awareness month and who raise funds to found free check-ups and to find a cure for the breast cancer.
This morning I've seen an episode of Ellen dedicated to breast cancer and once again I had the immense pleasure to watch Mellissa and Ade from SYTYCD performing their 'Breast Cancer Tribute', here it is:

There is another thing that has been on my mind lately and made me very upset... it concerns Jennifer Morrison and her departure.

I didn't want to write anything on the matter of JMo leaving House cuz it really doesn't make a huge difference to me, I mean she seems nice and I felt a little sad when I found out about it, but I'm not devastated...and I definitely won't be missing her as I miss Kal Penn (still). You ask what changed my mind? Well, in order to get some great House spoilers (which I looove) I decided to use some drastic methods and... logged in to my Twitter account(yes...I know... get a life LOL) and started following Greg Yaitanes (one of House's director - he's an angel I'm tellin' ya), and some Huddy supporters (btw I think it's safe to say that GY is so into Huddy LOL). Lately they posted links to vids where there are photos of House's producers burning (not to mention there can be found Lisa E's pics burning but I won't even go there cuz it makes me lost my self-control). Here is the link to one of them:

It really saddens me that among House MD fans r ppl who are capable of such hatred and I don't really understand them...heck I don't wanna understand their motives cuz I don't believe there are any legitimate motives to what they're doing. I understand that some of House fans can be sad or even devastated because of TPTB's decision but to wish some other human being death is just beyond me. I'm just glad that there r so many of us - real House MD fans - who respect the producers, writers, actors and everyone who's involved in making this fab show and are grateful that we can follow House's journey. Thanks to you guys I feel privileged to be a fan of this show.
