All clips are from this week's AI, the theme was: Rat Pack; one of the contestants is going home today :(

Those where some dry data, and here is how I feel about them:

When I heard Danny Gokey, singing Hero in the semis I was sure that he will do well. He was the first one that really got into me and because of that I will always have some sort of sentiment for him and his performances, even though I thought he killed one of my fav songs of all times What hurts the most ;) Besides this little unfortunate, in my opinion, song he really is doing great in the competition and after yesterday's show I have to say that Danny showed that he really should be in the top 2, he definitely is in mine.

Allison Iraheta was never my favorite, I'm all into R&B and black rhythms so I wanted Lil Rounds to stick around (she was voted off last week), but I have to admit that this girl really can sing. She has amazing vocals, and after hearing her I don't want to miss a thing I thought that she may get to the top 3. Unfortunately, it's AI and everything is possible, but hopefully she stays after yesterday, even though Simon said that she lacks confidence and because of that she might be in trouble...guess we'll see about that tonight or rather tomorrow :P

Matt Giraud is my least favorite from the five. Because when I look at him all I see is a shy guy looking like JT. I don't feel the connection between him and the audience and this is what really annoys to me. He has a great voice, but I think that he shouldn't be saved. In my opinion he just doesn't have the star pigment in him. In yesterday's performance he did a very good job but I think that in this stage of the competition one has to be exceptional and frankly, in my opinion, he wasn't. Matt had his great moments like when he sang Human Nature, but overall for me there were far more downs than ups. Above all, I do wish him well, I hope that he would have a great career after leaving AI and proves me wrong :)

Kris Allen - he's a surprise for me, because I never thought that he would get this far, though I have to admit that I only now learn to appreciate his talent. He had a straight line of strikes these past few weeks, and he definitely got me with his take on Ain't no sunshine, but I've already written about this performance in my earlier post. Can he win? Well, the possibility is always there, but I already has my favorite...

That's Adam Lambert! From week to week I admired his work and, like Kara DioGuardi calls it, artistry more and more. He is a real performer. He has a great contact with the audience, even sitting in front of the TV I still feel connected to him when he sings, he is really comfortable on stage and what is the most important he knows what exactly change in the song to make it his. He is not afraid of taking risks and I love him for it. His voice range is breathtaking, and even though I prefer Danny's timbre, I think that it was Adam who was born a star and should eventually win. He is an actor/singer and his broadway-like style of performing is something I really look forward to every week. I don't know if the music that he is going to do will suit my taste, but for now I'm definitely willing to give it a try.

That's all folks ;) so, what do you think?

October Surprise - Obama citizenship

I don't want to turn anybody against Barack Obama, I, myself wish him all the best, and I used to believe in his truthfulness and will to change the USA for the better, but after reading this article in Polska:

http://www.polskatimes.pl/opinie/98997,obamie-moze-grozic-szybki-impeachment,id,t.html#material

...and watching this video on YouTube:

...I have some doubts if he is a rightful US Citizen. Although, when I first found out about this thing I thought that it's ridiculous and it'd be very stupid of him to take part in the election, because in the US the elections are really dirty and opponents pull out the worst things they possibly can to drop each other in public estimation. And if it wasn't for this article I would still think so. Right now I'm confused and don't know what I believe anymore. But I do know that I don't want Joe Biden to be the next US president.

I'm dying to know what you think about this whole situation so let me know please ;)
